Content DescriptionIn poor condition, with much text loss; apparently relates to a controversy over the raising of money for repairs to a bridge at Builth Stank in Radnorshire; other affidavits concern stray sheep; also list of commissioners [of the peace] for Radnorshire, 3 William III and Mary II [1691] - includes Robert, Thomas and Sir Edward Harley; a further list of Radnorshire names headed by Sir Rowland Gwyn, custos rotulorum; petition by Radnorshire Justices of the Peace to Lord Keeper (Sir John) Somers complaining at being 'calumniated' by an unsigned petition and present a 'narrative of their proceedings' justifying their actions [1693-1697]; and appointment by the justices of overeers of the poor for the parish of Llanbadarnvawr, Herefordshire, 25 May 1691.
