Thanks Lord Harley for his gracious answer to his last letter; refers to a 'Vile combination among the workmen', about which Mr Cossens was to write; also refers to some stolen wood; awaits instructions to come to London.
On the reverse: lists the names of seven tenants in Wimpole who have not paid their rents, and comments on their circumstances.
