Content DescriptionRefers to vouchers at Wimp[o]le in the Duchess [of Newcastle]'s hand which prove that she asked Lady Henrietta [Harley] for money, and which will help his defence against the Duchess's allegations; has been told that Lord and Lady Harley will not be returning to Wimple before the trial; writes that he will send someone to procure acknowledgments from them to be produced at the Nottingham assizes; is attempting to get an injunction in Chancery; is highly worried by the situation, but writes that the effort should convince Lord Harley of his service to him.
