Content Description | Only realised today that Wenman might be coming to London, and comments that if the waters have not prevented him then he would be sorry to miss seeing him in the country; mentions that Lord Oxford has promised him a lease for Lindhurst and Harlow wood, and adds that he would like to build a lodge; had asked Lord Oxford to forward his orders to Wenman, so that the matter could be settled as soon as possible; hopes therefore that Wenman will defer his journey for a few days if he receives this letter in time.
