Content DescriptionReports his meeting with Mr Walter at Nottingham, where Walter mentioned that he had received a letter from Harley, requesting that he settle the affair of a 'chief rent' demanded by Mr Wynne; however, Walter did not have the relevant details and so asked that Wenman write to Harley for them; Walter has left it to Mr Thomas Smith and Wenman to settle what the Duke of Newcastle's proposition should be; hopes to be able to send Harley some bills by the end of the month.
