Received Wenman's letter with a copy of the undersheriff's, [Pl C 1/171], which he thought 'very impertinent'; believes that Wenman's response was 'very proper' and directs him to pay the fine which he forgot to tell Wenman to pay when he was in town; will send in the next post Mr Wynne's demands.
