Content DescriptionSends bill for £500 on Sam Smith, which he begs to know has arrived safely; mentions money he has received from Mr Gace; gives some account of the election at Nottingham, which he imagines Harley will also hear about from Mr Levinz and Mr Willoughby; mentions those tenants who disobeyed Harley's commands; refers to the minster of Edwinstowe who was placed in that living by Dr Willis, now Bishop of Salisbury; mentions other tenants of the duke including Dr Cromwell of Mansfield and Anthony Held of Sutton.

Parts of letter damaged, with text loss, leaving meaning obscure.
