Content DescriptionExplains that he drew a bill on Wenman and John Monk for his [Tancred's] half year annuity due last Lady Day; had expected that it would have been paid back punctually; has heard from Mr Seamers that the money will not be paid until Wenman is sure that he [Tancred] is alive; regrets that such ploys should be used to delay something that he is perfectly entitled to; asks that Alderman Child or anyone else be ordered to pay him the money he is owed.

Remainder of letter is damaged, with text loss, leaving meaning obscure.
