Content DescriptionHas received a letter from his master governor referring to his absence at the last muster at Hull, informing him that he is under respite and if he is not at the next in February, will be struck from the rolls; explains that their governor Brigadier Sutton told him that he was not obliged to attend there; moreover Colonel Granville, their lieutenant governor, informed him the last time he saw him, in front of Major Barnet, that when there was any oration for him, he would let him [Walton] know in time; therefore asks that Wenman get his respite removed, as otherwise he will forfeit all his pay, and excuse him from attendance at Hull.
