Content DescriptionReceived Harley's letter and the venison warrant which was delivered to Palmer the next day; refers to his [Wenman's] previous suggestion that Palmer carry a buck to Mr Justice Tracy at the assizes with Harley's compliments; has spoken to Mr Chappell about the collection of the duchess [of Newcastle]'s rents but does not know how far he has got, having not seen him for a month; will send Harley a more detailed account in the following week; reports that Robin Banks has finally agreed to pay £100 of his balance, and the rest shortly; had asked Mr Twybell to inform Harley that he [Wenman] was delayed in his journey because of the fever; sends Harley a bill for £200 and requests to know whether it arrives safely.
