Content DescriptionReports a fire at Palmer's Lodge in Clipston[e] Park, which destroyed all the stables, outhouses and part of the dwelling house; the fire probably started from a spark from a dunghill, and the wind stopped it from being easily controlled; the damage in loss of buildings, clothes and household goods for the Palmer family Wenman guesses will be in excess of £150; has given Palmer some wood with which to repair the house which has been rendered inhabitable; asks for Harley's financial help in this matter.
