Content DescriptionHas written to Mr Morris and has shown the letter to the Lord Treasurer [1st Earl of Oxford], who approved it; sends copy to Harley [Pl C 1/12]; reports that the Lord Treasurer is well and has gone to Windsor; comments on the improved health of Lady Oxford; refers to the order of the Lord Chancellor, settled by Mr Dixon; reports that Lord Pelham has not yet decided about the goods in Newcastle House which he thinks is very 'uncivil'; argues it would damage the goods to remove them and put Pelham to more expense; thanks Harley for his kind words about his brother George Wenman and comments that George is the only brother not provided for, the other being placed in the army.
