Content DescriptionEncloses a bill for £500 from Samuel Smith which he received from Mr Gace; would like to know that it arrives safely; will send him £500 next week from his own collection and explains that £250 will come from Mr Chappell; has arranged to see Robin Banks to arrange his matters; explains his own ineptitude as a hunter of game; thanks the Harleys for their previous gifts of venison and hopes that they continue to favour him; adds that he cannot ask Palmer for more due to his 'insolence', which makes Wenman think he [Wenman] must have done something to earn the Harleys' disfavour; reiterates his loyalty and affection to them.
