Lease and release by (1) to (2) of the manor and site of the dissolved monastery of Bewley alias Beaulieu, Hampshire with the parsonage and tithes of Beaulieu; Ipley Grange, Hampshire; a rentcharge on property in the Isle of Wight; the capital messuage of Bull Hall, Southampton and other messuages in the town; the land on which the great messuage of Southampton House formerly stood, with all buildings formerly a part of it, in the parish of St Andrew Hoborne, Middlesex; the advowsons of St Peter Cheap and of St Andrew Holborne in the City of London; and all lands etc. of (1) in Bewley etc., Limmington, Eling and Dibden, Hampshire, and in the specified parishes of the town and county of the town of Southampton, and of Middlesex and London.
To stand seized of the premises to such uses as (1) shall appoint, and in default of such appointment, after her decease, to pay the one third share of the annuities under the will of Thomas, Earl of Southampton (to the Countess Dowager of Southampton and others specified) and the share of various mortgage debts etc. left by the said Earl of Southampton, and subject thereto, to the use of (3) for life, thence to the eldest son of the marriage and the heirs male of his body, with remainder to the younger sons of the marriage successively and the heirs male of their bodies, with remainder to Lady Elizabeth Percy (daughter and only surviving child of (1) by her first marriage) and to all other daughters of (1) by this second marriage and the heirs of their bodies;
With remainder to Lady Elizabeth Noel and Lady Rachel Vaughan, sisters of (1), and the heirs of their bodies as tenants in common (but the trustees only to pay over the rents to those two ladies if they are married at that stage and not to vest any of the estates in them), with ultimate remainder to the right heirs of Thomas, Earl of Southampton. |
