Second Party: William, Duke of Portland; and Margaret, Duchess of Portland (his wife, only daughter and heir of Henrietta Cavendish Holles, late Countess Dowager of Oxford and Countess Mortimer, her mother, deceased, who was widow and relict of Edward, late Earl of Oxford and Earl Mortimer, deceased, and daughter and heir of John, late Duke of Newcastle, deceased, by Margaret, late Duchess of Newcastle, his wife, also deceased, who was daughter of Henry, late Duke of Newcastle, deceased).

Third Party: Robert Harley of Lincoln's Inn, Middlesex, Esq.; and James West of Lincoln's Inn Fields, Middlesex, Esq.

Fourth Party: Agatha Child of Lincoln's Inn Fields, Middlesex, widow.

Assignment by (1) to (4) of the manor of Sibthorpe and all premises comprised in the original mortgage of 1723 (Pl F3/3/11), for the residue of the term of 1000 years, to secure the repayment by (2) and (3) of £16000 and interest (as specified) by way of mortgage.

Recites the mortgage to the Duchess of Montagu's representatives (Pl F3/3/11), its subsequent assignments (Pl F3/3/41, Pl F3/3/55 etc.) and the death of the Countess of Oxford and Mortimer.

Consideration: £16000 by (4) to (1).

Attached undertaking by the Duke of Portland to have an up to date rental of the mortgaged premises drawn up, 4 Mar. 1757.
