Content DescriptionDeed poll declaration of trust by Lord Harley that William, Viscount Cheyne, Peter Walter and John Morley (the trustees for sale under the 1719 act) shall stand seised of the trust estates in trust for Alexander Denton of Hillesdon, Buckinghamshire, Esq. and Edmund Probin of the Middle Temple, London, Esq. in respect of the £5000 paid by these two to Harley (part of a sum of £20000 to be raised on the estates of the late Dukes of Newcastle and paid to Harley).

This represents a mortgage for £5000 charged on the estates overall. See also Pl F5/10/2 et seq.
