Assignment by (1), at the direction of (2) and (3), to (4) of the Derbyshire estates of (1) (annual rental £2845) and those in the parish of Norton Cuckney, Nottinghamshire (annual rental £365), for the residue of a term of 1000 years, to secure £50600 and interest (at 3.5%-4.5% as specified) by way of mortgage.

Recites the act of Parliament (Pl F3/2/17), the 1726 trust deed (Pl F3/3/17), the mortgage of 1730 (Pl F3/3/24 etc.), the further mortgage of 1734 (Pl F3/3/37 etc.) and the trust deed of 1737 (Pl F3/3/42).

Consideration: £50600 by (4) to (1) - £23000 of it to Sir Rowland, £13800 each to Thomas and Samuel.

Endorsed, 8 Aug. 1746:

Deed poll quit claim to and covenant with Jane, Duchess Dowager of Argyll whereby the interest rate becomes 4% in lieu of 3.5%.

Endorsed receipts: for the payment of £6500, 1 May 1755; and £2500, 2 Oct. 1755 in partial redemption of the mortgage.
