Content Description | Series of colour photographs of visiting Chinese scholars, 1987 and n.d. Most are unlabelled on the back, but photographs of individual scholars are interleaved with pieces of paper giving names, titles and their workplaces in China. Other photographs show groups of Chinese scholars and Nottingham University staff. The photographs were taken during the Chinese scholars' year in Britain, with backgrounds including the University of Nottingham, the British Museum, St Paul's Cathedral, a village in the British countryside, the inside of a British Rail train, the Yorkshire dales, Rievaulx Abbey, Portobello Pleasure Beach, Edinburgh, Corpus Christi College, Cambridge (PCF 6/1-42).
