Content DescriptionRefers to estate matters including clarification over the lands in Holme held under the Prebendary of Southwell which he verified as unsettled and those called 'Chapter Lands' which were settled, giving further details of acreage and rents; he would draw up the accounts for both the unsettled and settled estates as requested; would attend to revising the inventory of the furniture of Nottingham Castle; pay strict attention to the viewing of the Holme and Muskham estates and asked for the paper giving the rents of those places, including Bathley; the allotting of these estates and finally that the builders of his house should have £500 on account and this he would place to the debit of the present Duke.
