Content Description | Vouchers for payment of rents, tax and tithes by the Duke of Newcastle for lands in Flawborough, Maplebeck, North Muskham, Cromwell, Brinsley, Basford, and Nottingham.
Also present are occasional payments for a variety of works to buildings in Nottingham, notably Nottingham Castle and Park and Thurland Hall; other payments include money given by the duke to Worlaby Hospital, Lincolnshire [Ne A 330/26].
All contain confirmation of receipt of payment, mostly received 1791. |
