Content DescriptionWilliam, Prior of the monastery of Nostell leases to Robert Whatton and his son William a watermill belonging to the Priory and convent of Sookholme, together with cottage and garden and one acre of land with appurtenances in Sookholme.

Terms: To be held and occupied by Robert and William and their heirs from the Martinmas preceding the date of this deed until 60 years have been fully completed paying annually 22 shillings of legal English money during this term; they are to rebuild the mill and to be bound in a bond of 10 marks to abide by the conditions of the lease.
