Content Description | Emma de Bellafago acknowledges herself to be bound to deliver annually a quarter of wheat to Roger, son of Robert le Paumer of Woolsthorpe [Lowdham] for a release made her by him of a mill in Woolsthorpe called Walkemill and a bovate of land.
Terms: To be paid to Roger and his heirs in two halves at Michaelmas and at Easter.
Date: Example of handwriting; however an Emma de Bellafago features in an early 13c deed relating to Gunthorpe and two witnesses to this deed are of Caythorpe and Sibthorpe, all allied geographically to Lowdham.
