| Content Description | Colour slides showing scenes of buildings, landscapes and artefacts such as gibbets, stocks, pumps, memorials and plaques, from Nottinghamshire and elsewhere. 62 of the 170 slides relate to the East Midlands. Many of the other slides were taken at the Welsh Folk Museum, the Ulster Folk Museum, and the Acton Scott working farm in Shropshire.
Most of the slides are labelled with a description and numbered LH or H, 1-100. There is a key to the slides written inside the box. The box includes two slides labelled 'Salmon trap, Esk estuary', P82, which are not in the written key. |
