Encloses a note from Mr Erskine and also a letter from Brough's son regarding the propriety of publishing the note 'with any account of the business to which it relates' [not present]; states that his [Coke's] only concern was to show that Mr Erskine's speech had been misrepresented, and that he cannot comment on the propriety of any publication to be made at Newark; observes that there could be no impropriety in publishing something to which Mr Erskine had given his consent.
