Admin History	Nothing is known about these fragments apart from what can be gleaned from the evidence within them.
Custodial History	The fragments were given to the University library in the early 1930s. Two contain headings indicating they were at one time used for covering books of Leicester wills, 1563-1576.
Description	While the fragments cannot be attributed with any certainty, the following suggested identifications have been made: MS 12/1-3 Two leaves (non consecutive) from the Temporale of a Breviary, containing portions of the offices for Trinity Sunday, the feast of Corpus Christi etc. Written in England. MS 12/4-5 Fragments from an Antiphonal with musical notation. Both are from the Sanctorale. One complete leaf contains some of the choral portions of the office of St Agatha (5 Feb). A fragment is concerned with feasts (St Gregory the Great - Annunciation of the Virgin) in the following month. Written in England. MS 12/6-7 Two leaves (not consecutive) from the Temporale of a Gradual, containing parts of masses for Christmas Day and the feast of St Stephen. Music on four-line stave. Written in England. MS 12/8-11 Four consecutive leaves from a Gradual with musical notation. The leaves, which formed part of the Temporale, contain the choral portions of offices for Tuesday in third week of Lent to Tuesday in fourth week of Lent. Written in England. MS 12/12-13 Leaf from a Missal containing part of the office, etc., for the first Sunday in Advent. MS 12/14-15 Consecutive leaves from the Sanctorale of a Missal containing masses for the translation of St Edward Confessor (13 Oct) to the Vigil of All Saints (31 Oct). Written in England.
