Content Description
Has been forwarded a letter from J.D. Chambers to Helen Corke. Is of the opinion that Jessie Chambers was 'the only true heroine in the Lawrence story'. Remembers Hugh Kingsmill travelling to Nottingham to meet Chambers, and expresses an interest in viewing Haggs Farm for himself. Although he doesn't like Lawrence's later work, thinks 'Sons and Lovers' is the best fiction writing of our time.
