Content DescriptionCassette tape of interview by Gary Akers with D.H. Lawrence's niece Margaret Needham (née King) the daughter of Lawrence's eldest sister Emily King (née Lawrence), at Eastwood Library on 10 Mar. 1976.

Regards her recollections of 'Uncle Bert'. Ends with Mrs. Needham reading a letter written to her by D.H. Lawrence in 1930 when he was unwell in the sanitorium before he died.

Duration of recording: 54 min. 32 sec. over two sides of the tape.
