Sketch in pencil depicting a young girl with an apple; she is leaning with her right arm on a cushion and her right hand is placed over the apple; only the head and shoulders of the child are visible.
The drawing is signed in the bottom right hand corner by 'D.H. Lawrence' and the title 'Child with an apple' appears just above the signature. The work is undated.
