Admin HistoryThe collections of the former Institute of German, Austrian and Swiss Affairs (INGASA) were transferred to the University of Nottingham Library in 1995, after the closure of the Institute. The holdings comprised both published and archival material, and its specialist nature resulted in the principal holdings of the Institute being added to the collections of Manuscripts and Special Collections. Some of the INGASA library collections have been transferred to general lending stock, but there remains a core special collection relating to Germany of the mid-late 20th century.
