Content Description | Recites that he has revoked a settlement dated 12 Mar. 1859 relating to his Colwick and other estates in Nottinghamshire, and is now entitled in fee simple to such estates.
Revokes the trusts, powers and declarations relating to these estates in his will dated 16 Mar. 1859; devises the estates in Colwick, West Bridgford, Sneinton and Carlton to the use of his eldest son John Patricius Chaworth Musters and his assigns for life, with remainder to the use of his sons and daughters in tail general, then to the use of his second son Lancelot George Eden Michael Chaworth Musters with similar remainders, and then to the use of any younger sons in tail general; in case of failure of such issue, to the use of his eldest daughter Mary Catherine Chaworth Musters and her assigns for life, with remainder to the use of her sons and daughters in tail general, then to the use of his second daughter Catherine Emily Chaworth Musters with similar remainders, and then to the use of any younger daughters in tail general. Declares that the limitations in his will in favour of the sons of his uncle William Musters shall be postponed, and that the sons of his uncle Henry Musters shall inherit before them.
Appoints the trustees of his will, Robert Nicholas Hamond, Anthony Hamond the younger, and James John Trebeck, as managers and trustees of the estates in case of the minority of the person entitled to them.
Declares that, with respect to these estates, each of his sons and daughters shall have powers of limiting yearly rentcharges to any wife or husband of theirs, similar to the power given to George Chaworth Musters and Mary Ann Chaworth Musters in his will, and powers to charge portions for their children on the estates.
Revokes legacies given to Mary Ann Chaworth Musters, his cousin Philip Hamond, his uncle Robert Nicholas Hamond, the Rev. Joseph Lloyd Brereton, and James John Trebeck.
Bequeaths legacies: £2,000 to his godson Annesley Horace Packe; £500 to James John Trebeck; £500 to his godson Frank Brereton, second son of the Rev. John Lloyd Brereton; and £1,000 to his cousin Sophia Hamond, eldest daughter of Robert Nicholas Hamond. |
