Content DescriptionThe estate is specified in indentures dated 15-16 Sep. 1707 [Bn 68 and Bn 69] which conveyed it to Alexander Taylor and Thomas Allsopp, to be held in trust by them, for discharging the debts of William Smalley and freeing his heir Nathaniel Smalley, aged 8, of these debts, and for enabling a more appropriate purchase to be made for Nathaniel Smalley by his mother an guardian Ann Sherratt, and trustees Alexander Taylor and Thomas Allsopp.

Witnesses: Samuel Clarke, Ilsley Sherratt.
