Military intelligence regarding a new weapon thought to have been tested by the French enemy, namely a "...new invented liquid and inextinguishable fire...managed by one single man in a boat made of cork, and by means of a pump the fire is to be thrown at a great distance; the intention is said to be to set fire to our ships...".
