Content DescriptionSays he is sending his master's [Duke of Celle] reply to the letter from the Prince of Orange which Bentinck sent; comments on when and where the troops will arrive and states that he hopes the prince and the state not be displeased with them; says they may count on the good will of Hanover in the future; indicates that the King of France has sent someone to keep an eye on their actions while Gourville is in Hanover; comments that they will have to sustain strong attacks but that they will defend themselves; the King of England has asked his master for 100 'cerfs', [commenting on the interest in a particular form of hunting even in England]; says they are expecting the results of the conferences at The Hague by the next post; expresses hopes for the prosperity and success of the Prince [of Orange].

The hand is very difficult with the result that some of the letter may not have been translated or may contain inaccuracies.
