Content DescriptionExpressing the wish that the Duke of W. would not propose Ministers for this on the date of a meeting of parliament and the bringing of the Reform Bill to the House of Lords. Also stating a wish to see the Duke of Wellington taking the lead in the peers and Sir Robert Peel in the House of Commons, a number of members threatening to absent themselves unless matters were carried out systematically. And a P.S. to the effect that he would be going abroad immediately, quitting England entirely with little regret as he was disgusted with almost everything and public men in particular.
