Lease [Ne D 3896/1] and release [Ne D 3896/2] from (1) to (2) of a piece of enclosed land in Far Meadow, Nottingham, measuring 2176 square yards, between the Nottingham to Wilford Road and the canal; details of further boundaries are provided; usual covenants apply.

Consideration: £134.8.0..

Recitals: (a) fact that (1) purchased the property concerned from John Leaver [see Ne D 3895/1-2 for details]; (b) fact that it was more advantageous for (1) to build the canal on the southern most side of the close of (2) on the south side of Nottingham Castle, and so (1) will sell the land to (2) in order that (2) may make more commodious wharves landings, warehouses and so on.

Endorsement of enrolment in Chancery on 5 Dec. 1793.
