In consideration of the sum of £12,000 paid to (1) by (3), release from (1) to (3) of Nottingham Castle, Nottingham Park, the meadow, canal and parcels of land within the precincts of the castle; includes arrangements for the payment of interest and expected provisos and covenants.

Recitals: (a) fact that (1) is seized in fee simple of the Castle and Park and other property in Nottingham, and that this property is of a greater value than an annuity of £3,000 due to (2); (b) fact that (1) has occasion for the sum of £12,000 and has applied to (3) to lend it to him.

Note that the original mortgage is dated 17-18 Jun. 1812; this abstract is thought to have been made c.14 Mar. 1830.
