Letter from Dunn Brothers dated 19 Oct. 1882 [Mi 4 E 55/2/99] with accompanying map dated 21 Oct. 1882 showing land at Trowell belonging to Lord Middleton which has been earmarked as a potential site for building colliery houses. The piece of land in question is situated on the road from Stapleford to Trowell near Messrs Dunn's Colliery[Mi 4 E 55/2/98].

Clause relating to glebe land intended to be inserted into a lease of the Kilburn Coal Seam [Mi 4 E 55/2/118].

Letter from Dunn Brothers dated 5 Dec. 1876 [Mi 4 E 55/2/140], enclosing a traced plan showing the Radford and Trowell branch railway and the canal, states that the ground required for the proposed colliery operations is situated between the railway line and canal [[Mi 4 E 55/2/139].
