Custodial HistoryThe papers of Richard Warwick Bond were presented to the Library of the University College, Nottingham in 1943.
DescriptionApart from general correspondence from 1796-1939 (some of it concerning earlier members of the Bond family), Bond's papers mainly reflect his literary activities. This included work on the Marlay papers (see My) that he was editing for publication, and notes for his edition of Bercher's 'Nobility of Women', presented to the Roxburghe Club by Charles Brinsley Marlay. There are also some manuscript poems by Bond and material relating to his role as a Nottingham academic, including English Literature syllabuses.
