Content DescriptionPasses a resolution agreeing to support the Earl of Lincoln, should Mr Baird resign his seat in his favour; gives the condition that Lincoln not offer himself as a candidate at the general election so that Mr Wilson may stand; regrets that Mr Wilson has agreed to stand in Lincoln's place should his opponents bring forward a Protectionist candidate; does not believe a Protectionist candidate can win.
