Content DescriptionThese items formed part of what had once been an extensive family library, already largely dispersed by the time the Middleton Collection came to the University of Nottingham and this series of 37 entries was formed. Further changes have since reduced the group. Those with reference numbers Mi Lm 5, Mi Lm 10 and Mi Lm 12 were withdrawn from the Collection in 2005 and are no longer held at the University. Those with reference numbers Mi Lm 1, Mi Lm 3, Mi Lm 4, Mi Lm 6, Mi Lm 7, Mi Lm 7/1, Mi Lm 8, Mi Lm 9, Mi Lm 11 and Mi Lm 37 were withdrawn in 2007 and now form part of the University of Nottingham's Wollaton Library Collection: see the catalogue descriptions of this collection (reference WLC).
